Can you change your radiator fluid?

My message today comes from some spiciness that's come from some conversations and pulls from the subject line: Do you know how to flush your radiator fluid?

At some point we're (business owners) all guilty of feeling like we have to know every aspect of our business. Whether we're just getting started or we're growing and scaling. We hesitate. We overthink. We underestimate our abilities.

And if we don't feel like we know everything about it then we're failures. Which is simply not true.

I liken it to buying a car. When you bought your car did you know everything about it? How about after owning it for 3 years?

Do you know how to change the oil?
Change the air filter? Fix the engine?

Some of you - yes.

Most of you - probably not. When something is wrong you take it to a mechanic.

And I'm going to assume the mechanic you go to doesn't look at you like a failure of a car owner!

Just like a bookkeeper doesn't look at you like a failure.
Just like a branding expert doesn't look at you like a failure.
And so on.

They actually get joy out of being able to help you! Just like you probably do with your customer.

"If it holds you up, then it's holding you back"

This is where some mindset work comes in, and if this feeling starts to creep in...I challenge you to ask yourself why {insert issue| is holding you up and holding you back. Name the feeling and get curious about where it's coming from.

That’s where the juicy goodness comes from!
