What Is A World Without Pivots?!
In 2017 I opened a coworking space with on-site childcare.
In 2018 I pivoted and we closed down the childcare portion of the space.
In 2020 I pivoted and closed down our physical location and brought our community online.
In 2021 well, I’m pivoting again!
In November of 2019, in addition to running The Hatchery community, I started coaching on the side. To keep coaching separate from The Hatchery, I created my own personal brand, Amanda L. Quick.
Having my own brand was both a little frightening and pretty stinkin' magical! But it was still a second priority to The Hatchery and most individuals didn't even know it existed.
In 2020, once we closed the physical space, moved online, and I picked up more one-on-one coaching clients, it felt like there was a disconnect between myself as the owner and The Hatchery brand. To me, it seemed like my personal brand was trying to come out more, but it just didn’t seem to fit. I felt I needed to remove some of the “polished feel” to be able to show up as my true self.
My true self and coaching style is described as:
Being direct.
Being an ass-kicker,
Being empathic.
Being sassy without being a jerk.
Being a strategist.
Being a question master to poke holes in the plan before jumping in.
Being experienced.
Being connected.
Being your biggest fan.
Nudging you farther than you think you can go.
So, after months (and months and months) of internal hard work, listening to what clients both wanted and needed, and months and months of intentional planning, we’re so excited to announce that I’m officially stepping out behind the curtain of The Hatchery and fully into my own personal brand!
What does that mean for you?
1. We are merging The Hatchery with Amanda L. Quick:
The Hatchery isn’t fully going away, but looks a lot different. The main brand will be Amanda L. Quick and The Hatchery will continue to grow as the online community platform it has become, just nestled under my brand.
2. I’ll be focused on one-on-one business coaching to help you level-up and overcome the overwhelm of running a business
While running The Hatchery coworking space I started to get requests to do more one-on-one coaching. In getting more requests I started to realize that this was something I wanted to do more of. Yes, I loved our space, but running the day-to-day (without seeing a profit) took up all my energy and I didn’t have much left for this new passion.
I work with 5-6 clients at a time for a 3-month minimum commitment. We dig deep, we pull things apart and put them back together with a plan of action.
I show up and give you the space you need to complete the “not so fun” parts of the business that are keeping you from growing, and we have some fun along the way!
3. We’ll continue to grow our signature community under a new name, The Hatchery Community
With our new and exclusive platform, we’re continuing to build and cultivate the relationships between small business owners who need a like-minded community, collaboration opportunities, accountability, and their own cheering section. Bonus - it’s all in one place to make it easy-peasy to get what you need from it!
4. Classes will only be available through The Hatchery Community
We have always offered our classes to both the public and our community so that we could grow our connections, offer networking opportunities, and offer as much as we could to everyone. We’re bringing these classes inside our community to really be able to deepen our community growth.
Our memberships will still be once a month, so while you can join just for one class - we hope you find value in what we’re building to hang out for a while longer!

While this has been a bit scarier than I imagined it was going to be, I'm so incredibly grateful for the mental and technical support I’ve had along the way! There have been a lot of tapping sessions to work through inner blocks, mindset work to trust while not being able to see the “how”, coaching sessions to find who we truly serve, and a lot of encouragement by those who see me for who I can really be if I just simply allow myself to.
I believe we’re taking things to the next level to be able to offer more support, build more relationships, create more resources, and help you conquer more!
